President's Message
Dear HR Professionals,
As we look ahead to an exciting new program year, I am honored to continue serving as your Chapter President. Together, we continue to build on a strong foundation—one rooted in connection, service, and a shared commitment to excellence in public sector human resources.
This upcoming season, our theme is “Crafting Your HR
Legacy.”
Whether you’re early in your career or a seasoned HR leader, each decision you
make, each conversation you lead, and every solution you design contributes to
the legacy you leave—not just within your agency, but across the broader HR
profession. Our chapter is here to support you in that journey.
I’m thrilled about the season ahead and the opportunities it holds for all of us. We’re curating dynamic programming designed to inspire, educate, and challenge you to grow. From timely policy discussions and leadership development to wellness and inclusion-focused content, our events will offer something for everyone—no matter your HR focus area.
Just as important, we are creating more spaces for authentic member connection. Whether you're joining us in person or virtually, we want you to feel part of a vibrant and welcoming community. PSHRA Colorado is more than a professional association—it’s a network of peers, mentors, and friends who are walking similar paths and tackling similar challenges.
We’re also prioritizing chapter growth and development this year. That means expanding outreach to new and emerging HR professionals, strengthening our partnerships with local agencies, and offering more leadership opportunities within the chapter. We welcome input and ideas from our members on how we can achieve this goal!
Let’s make this a year to remember. A year where we each take intentional steps to craft our own HR legacies—grounded in impact, innovation, and service.
With gratitude and excitement,
Tara Moore
President, PSHRA Colorado Chapter
