Join us as we continue to craft our HR Legacy and learn the ins and outs of Social Security! This is a great opportunity to learn how you can answer questions and support your organizations.
This program will provide a general overview of all programs and services Social Security administers including Retirement, Auxiliary benefits for Spouses and children, Survivor benefits for spouses and children, Disability, and Medicare. The presentation will cover eligibility requirements to receive benefits, how benefits are calculated including Social Security Fairness Act updates, the application process, Medicare enrollment, and online services available at SocialSecurity.gov. There will also be time for question and answers at the end of the presentation.
Presenter:
Ivy Heuton has been with the Social Security Administration for 16 years and has earned many position titles including Claims Technical Expert specializing in policy knowledge, mentoring, and creating training programs for employees. She is now serving as a Public Affairs Specialist responsible for media relations, outreach projects, and specializing in educational programs like this one.
